| March 4th, 2010 Hello Great Shimiji Federation, Wow, I heard that Winter Camp was fantastic! "It snowed all day Saturday and the kids and parents had a great time sledding down the powdery hills at camp" said our new Federation Chief, Warrior Spirit who Sings. Congratulations to our new Federation Council. I know they will do a great job this next year. I also heard that the Cheetahs spirit was up at camp as we once again accepted the position as Webspinners. Crow Moon Parent's Pow wow is on Thursday, March 11th from 6:45 - 8:15pm. Please RSVP to Stacey as there is limited room. This is a Tribal Training Seminar for all parents. Come learn more about how to make your tribe successful! On Friday, March 12th from 6:30-7:30 pm, the YMCA will be hosting their annual "Lucky Leprechaun Gold Hunt". Bring your little Leprechaun's to the Y to search for GOLD! Pit Stop and Pinewood Derby are just around the corner in March. Cars will be available to purchase at the Longhouse Meeting, at Pit Stop and at the front desk of the YMCA for $5.00 each. Lion Heart has done a fantastic job creating a 2009 year in review Smoke Signal. CLICK HERE to see it in color. Better late than never, Family Camp, Hike and Picnic and Beach Day photos from 2009 are finally up on the website. Take a look at the great times everyone had at these events. If you have pictures from Induction Camp and the Pumpkin Liner, please send them to Wise Cheetah. We do not have many pictures to share from these events.
